FAQ

Good questions.

When does Yoritage launch?

In spring 2027, on iPhone and Android. Join the waiting list and we'll email you the day it's ready.

How much will it cost?

We plan to make Yoritage free to download and use at launch. As the service develops, we may explore ways to support its running costs, including advertising or paid features. We will explain any changes clearly.

Which places are included?

Stately homes, castles, abbeys, gardens, writers' homes and filming locations across England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland. We add more all the time.

Is it only for period-drama fans?

Not at all. You'll find places from Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and Star Wars too, plus plenty of places that have never been on screen but have a cracking story.

Will it show what's free with my membership?

Yes. Add your memberships (National Trust, English Heritage, Historic Houses, OPW and more) and Yoritage shows where you get in free or with a discount.

Are you part of the National Trust or English Heritage?

No. Yoritage is independent. We feature historic places and link to their own websites for tickets and opening times.

What happens to my email address?

We use it to manage the waiting list and send launch news and occasional updates. You can unsubscribe from those updates at any time. Our privacy page explains how information is handled.

I run a heritage site. How do I get involved?
